China and India Hold Arms Control Consultation in Beijing

On April 10, 2018, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Wang Qun held a new round of arms control consultation with Joint Secretary for Disarmament and International Security Affairs at the Ministry of External Affairs Pankaj Sharma of India, exchanging in-depth views on issues of common concern including international security, arms control and non-proliferation. The two sides believed that this consultation was candid, practical and fruitful, and agreed to hold the next round of arms control consultation at an appropriate time in India.
