On the evening of July 31, Military Attache of the Chinese Embassy in India Li Mengyan and his wife gave reception at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi to mark the 77th anniversary of the founding of China's People's Liberation Army (PLA).

Among 250-plus guests present were the Indian military generals, External Affairs Ministry officials, diplomatic envoys and military attaches to India, Indian friendly personages of various walks of life, representatives of Chinese companies, media agencies and students in India, Chinese Indians and overseas Chinese in India.
