Starting from July 10, 2009, the Chinese Embassy will stop on-line visa appointment service for ordinary passport holders. All ordinary passport holders are hereby requested to apply through the CHINA VISA APPLICATION SERVICE CENTER at the Commercial Tower of the Le Meridian Hotel, New Delhi.

    However, those listed below have to apply directly at the Embassy.

    1. Diplomatic and official passport holders as well as those with official delegations;

    2. Those who want to apply visa(s) for the Hong Kong SAR, China;

    3. Those who want to apply for journalist visa(s). Please contact the Press Section of the Chinese Embassy directly in advance. Tel: 011-2688 1249;

    4. Pilgrimage Group Visa applicants whom have been approved by the Chinese authority;

    5. Attestation and notarization applicants;

    6. Chinese citizens who want to apply for travel documents, replace their passports or apply for Hong Kong Entry Permit, etc.
