Launching ceremony of India China Post held in the Chinese Embassy In New Delhi

A republication ceremony of India China Post was held on the 10th of September by India China Society in the Chinese Embassy, New Delhi. Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Zhang Yan together with Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Government of India and Mr. Bhubaneswar Kalita, Chairman of Housing Committee Rajya Sabba attended and addressed the ceremony. Among the 80 participants were members of India China Society and the Chinese diplomats.

In his address to the participants, Ambassador Zhang Yan expressed his appreciation and gratitude towards members of India China Society for its long enduring efforts to promote Sino-Indian friendly relations. He also observed that there is a rapid and overall advance in the bilateral relationship in recent years and exchange of personnel is also on the rise. Request is coming from all ranks of the Indian society to further cultivate friendly cooperation between the two countries. Against this background the republication of India China Post will further booster understanding and friendship between the two peoples.

Both Minister Bansal and Chairman Kalita have stressed on the importance of mutual exchange and understanding, that increasing exchange between the two peoples is needed to carry on the bilateral relationship to a bright future.

India China Society was established in 1981. Members of the organization include government officials, M.P.s and ex M.P.s.
